What is trichomoniasis?
It is the most common vaginal inflammatory disease in women. Although it can happen at any age but it is more for women of childbearing age. It is a disease caused by bacteria. The disease is spread by a bacterium called Trichomonas. This disease also occurs in women who do not take care of cleanliness. It is a terrible disease that afflicts women. When swelling comes in this disease, touching the swollen place causes great pain.
Causes of trichomoniasis:
In women, the disease is mainly spread by Trichomonas vaginalis.
Such women who do not take care of cleanliness, get this disease easily.
Excessive intercourse also leads to Trichomoniasis.
The disease is also spread by using an infected man’s cloth or towel.
Women who have sexual intercourse during menstruation get this disease.
This disease occurs more during pregnancy.
Its bacterium is pear-shaped.
Symptoms of trichomoniasis:
Thick and frothy secretions are released from the vaginal tract.
It hurts when you touch the vaginal tract.
Swelling occurs in the vagina.
Vaginal itching.
Itching begins where there is secretion.
The vagina is found to be filled with red grains.
There is pain while urinating.
It hurts a lot while having sex.
There is a pain in a patient with frequent urination.
On looking carefully, small strawberry-like spots appear.
The urethra is very swollen.
Sometimes there is swelling in the stool passages.
There is pain while getting up or walking.
Pain persists in the pelvis due to infection.
