What is Pharyngitis?
The condition of sore throat, itching, burning, and another discomfort is called sore throat or pharyngitis. Often, it causes pain even during swallowing. There is a possibility of swelling in the throat mostly in cold weather. The main cause of inflammation in the throat is an infection, which in most cases is caused by viruses and in some cases by bacteria. Other reasons for this include throat allergies, bruising, toxins, and sore throats.
Causes of Pharyngitis :
Acids released from acid reflux also cause inflammation in the throat.
Sinus, mouth, or respiratory tract infection due to the spread to the throat.
The throat gets swollen due to continuous water flow from the sinuses.

There are complaints of muscle pain.
Decreases the appetite.

There is swelling in the tonsils.
Saliva keeps dripping from the mouth.
