 Uric acid stone:

When the blood has abnormally high uric acid levels, it also begins to be excreted in large amounts in the urine and uric acid has a higher tendency to form stones.  In others, diets rich in meat and fish, which are high in protein, contribute to high uric acid levels.

 Strowitch Stone:

These stones are usually the result of severe urinary tract infections and occur after or during illness.  This is because urine becomes alkaline in nature due to infection.  As a result, magnesium ammonium phosphate is formed, which accumulates in the kidney in the form of stones.  They have a tendency to increase in size very rapidly.

 Cysteine stone:

A hereditary condition called cystinuria is responsible for such stones.  In this situation, amino acids, especially cysteine, begin to leak from the kidney and are passed into the urine, forming these stones.
